Day 1 - Sunday, December 28

Arrive in Medellín, the Eternal Spring, throughout the day. Settle into your first accommodations and get to know the other members of our tour!

You can relax, we won't have any plans until tonight's dinner reservations where we'll toast the adventure ahead!

Day 2 - Monday, December 29

Morning: We will start our day at 6:30 am with a private transfer to El Poblado Park to begin our tour of the colorful town of Guatapé. Our tour will include a visit to the Rock of Guatapé, a boat tour of La Manuela, and breakfast and lunch in town.

Evening: This evening, we'll all have time to clean up a bit before we go on a food tour around Medellín where you'll have a chance to taste Colombia!

Late evening: If you have the energy, we'll do some light barhopping and enjoy the city before we depart tomorrow for our New Year's Eve plans.

Day 3 - Tuesday, December 30

We will grab breakfast and then take a 1-hour plane ride to our beautiful New Year's destination, Cartagena, the Walled City.

Once we settle into our new rooms, we'll head to a local restaurant and another night out with the locals.

Day 4 - Wednesday, December 31

Morning: Today will be a fairly relaxing day as we get to know

Afternoon: Because I believe the best way to explore a new city is through its dishes, we'll spend the afternoon on a guided food tour with lots of great dishes to taste along the way!

Evening: You may spend the rest of your evening enjoying Cartagena's beaches or getting yourself prepared for the long night to come as we celebrate New Year's Eve but you may be interested in my suggested excursion instead.

Late Evening: With time to spare before the fireworks go off, we'll get together for a group dinner and drinks before we head to join the massive street parties for NYE.

Salsa Lessons and Music Tour ($90)
You can get out there tonight and act like you know what you're doing or you can geet out there tonight and know what you're doing... either way, these dancing lessons will be a souvenir to hold forever!
Day 5 - Thursday, January 1

Today will be a free day to enjoy your new year in this beautiful country! You can hang out on the beaches, catch up with any friends you made last night, or go on today's recommended excursion!

Optional Excursion(s):
Mud Volcano Day Trip ($75)
Start your year off in the healing minerals of the Totumo Mud Volcano. This day trip includes transfer to and from the volcano, lunch, and massages from the locals trained in these healing arts.
Day 6 - Friday, January 2

For some of you, it may be your last day in paradise for the rest of the year. For others, this may be the last day of the first of many adventures to come this year! Either way, today is your day to do everything your heart desires!

If you need it, here's my recommendation for today.

Evening: Wherever today leads you, I hope you'll join us for one last group dinner. We will be hosted by a local chef who will cook for us this evening and if you're interested, they'll be happy to let you cook alongside them!

Spend your last day in Colombia visiting four of its beautiful Rosario Islands with a guided tour and lunch included in this amazing experience! If there's any excursion you're going to regret

Day 7 - Saturday, January 3

We'll head to the airport together and go our separate ways as we each board our planes back home.

I will make sure every one of you makes it on your plane home before I leave Colombia!
